Questionado sobre o destino dos garotos e sobre seus conselhos aos mais jovens, Oliveira não esconde o que pensa, mas salienta que só opina quando é solicitado.

– São jogadores jovens, que atingiram auge no Brasil e na carreira, auge aqui no Brasil é chegar à Seleção. Demonstra grandes partidas e méritos para chegar aonde chegou. Há pessoas em volta dele e vão tomar decisão que acham melhor.

-São jovens e não vão ter convicção certamente. Mas há agentes, empresários, que vão conversar com ele. E há o clube, a instituição, que acha que deve liberar ou não. Dou conselho bem cauteloso sempre que solicitado. É uma decisão mais pessoal, que pode mudar vida de família e a carreira, é complicado decidir por eles ou falar algo. Sempre que me perguntam, procuro aconselhar. Se tiverem inseguros, é sintomas de que não deve fazer. Quando se faz algo na dúvida, é complicado – ressaltou o capitão do Alvinegro.

Por enquanto, só Gabriel recebeu uma oferta oficial dos dois clubes italianos interessados e prometeu responder apenas após a disputa da Olimpíada, que termina no domingo.

Speaking exclusively with Football FanCast, former England international Steve Howey has claimed that Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s hamstring injury will be a “huge blow” for Everton.

Carlo Ancelotti has ruled Calvert-Lewin out for this Sunday’s Premier League meeting with Fulham, after being forced to withdraw the striker during the second-half of Wednesday night’s 5-4 FA Cup win over Tottenham Hotspur.

The 23-year-old had scored the Toffees’ first of the game to draw his side level and mark his 18th goal in all competitions, before recording his third and fourth assists of the season.

Ancelotti has stated that he and the club believe the England international will be available for Everton’s next game, at home to title-chasers Manchester City, on Wednesday night.

But Howey says that the Blues must manage his return carefully, as losing Calvert-Lewin for a lengthy period of time will be devastating for the club’s hopes of a top-four finish.

“It will be a huge blow [losing Calvert-Lewin]. You have to be so careful with these injuries,” he told FFC. “He’s had a ridiculously good season. Started off on fire, kind of just quietened a tiny, tiny little bit and then he’s come [on form] again.

“I was at the game when Everton played Leeds and Calvert-Lewin scored the winner in that. [I’ve been] so impressed with his hold up play, every aspect of his game has improved. So, it will be a blow but Everton have just got to be careful on the management of that.

“Obviously, as a player, you want to be back as soon as possible. But I think sometimes you, well all the time, especially with these injuries, you’ve got to make sure that you’re right. Because it will just go again, it’ll go again, and it’ll go again.

“But Everton are doing really well under Ancelotti. Obviously, they’ve got Richarlison there, they’ve got [Alex] Iwobi, they’ve got [James] Rodriguez, [Gylfi] Sigurdsson’s doing quite well [but they’re not the same as Calvert-Lewin].”

Calvert-Lewin’s hamstring injury is his second of the season so far, after missing last month’s FA Cup tie with Rotherham and Premier League victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Cenk Tosun led the line in Calvert-Lewin’s place against Rotherham and scored the opening goal, but has since returned to Besiktas on loan and been replaced at Goodison Park by Joshua King who is yet to score a league goal this season.

Ancelotti opted against fielding an out-and-out striker against Wolves with Rodriguez and Sigurdsson instead tasked with playing as two false nines, in a decision that did not pan out perfectly with Iwobi relied on to provide much of his side’s attacking threat from the right-wing.

Meanwhile Richarlison, who only played the final quarter of an hour at Molineux having also missed the Rotherham tie, is Everton’s current second-best scorer with eight goals across all competitions after a brace against Spurs but is without a league strike in seven games.

Liverpool return to Premier League action on Thursday evening, as they face Tottenham Hotspur away from home.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have started 2021 in terrible fashion, as they remain without a win in the top-flight, whilst they were knocked out of the FA Cup by Manchester United last weekend.

The Reds have scored just one goal in four top-flight fixtures and are in for another tough game on Thursday, as they face Jose Mourinho’s Spurs in North London.

Liverpool showed signs of improvements in the defeat at Old Trafford but looked vulnerable to counter-attacks throughout the game, so changes seem likely for the game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, considering how deadly Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son have been throughout the season so far.

Here’s how Football FanCast expects Klopp to line his side up against Spurs, with three changes from the team that started against Manchester United…

Alisson keeps his place in goal, although his performance at Old Trafford was arguably one of his worst in a Liverpool shirt as he should have saved Marcus Rashford’s goal and he’ll have been disappointed to have been beaten on his side by Bruno Fernandes’ free-kick.

There’s one change in the defence, as Joel Matip returns to the starting line-up after being rested for the FA Cup game last weekend, and he replaces Rhys Williams, who struggled badly against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.

Jordan Henderson could also reportedly make his return, so Klopp should select his captain in the hope that he can provide some much-needed leadership on the pitch against Spurs and he’ll be picked in midfield, having filled in at centre-back in recent weeks.

He starts alongside Georginio Wijnalduma and Thiago in midfield, with £140,000-a-week man James Milner dropping to the bench.

Unsurprisingly, the “unbelievable” Sadio Mane returns to the side after starting on the bench in the FA Cup meaning Curtis Jones drops to the bench, and Klopp will be hoping that his strongest front three can do the business against Mourinho’s side, with Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino having shown glimpses of being back to their usual selves at Old Trafford last time out.

There have been suggestions that Fabinho could be missing for the game as he wasn’t spotted training with the Reds today, although there has been no confirmation at this time. If that is the case, and The Reds are without the Brazilian, then we’d expect Henderson to drop into defence alongside Matip, with Milner getting the nod in midfield.

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has endured quite the defensive injury crisis this season.

Currently, the Yorkshire giants have no senior central defender available for selection, which is partly why we have seen Spurs score three, Manchester United score six. Even goal-shy Newcastle United find the net twice against them in recent encounters.

It’s led to the Argentine having to shift right-back Luke Ayling into the middle, and then subsequently having to force square pegs to fit round holes.

This is especially the case for the other full-back spot as technically, following the departure of Barry Douglas, the Whites do not have a proper left-back.

Bielsa has turned to Gjanni Alioski in these times, a winger by trade, though he should probably reconsider – don’t let that strike against West Brom fool you, he’s been holding Leeds back lately.

In terms of average rating for the season, the Macedonian livewire ranks as the worst player (6.61) of anyone who has started nine or more matches, per WhoScored.

Against Spurs and United, the 28-year-old failed to manage higher than a 5.63 rating too.

In the last two matches alone, Alioski has also committed five fouls and has delivered only one cross in his last four outings, via WhoScored.

Only Mateusz Klich manages more fouls per game than the long-serving winger, so clearly, there is work to be done here defensively.

Beren Cross at LeedsLive wrote similarly in a column this week. He said: “Steven Bergwijn and Son Heung-min had their way with Alioski. He did not seem able to stick with them or read their movements, which can be fatal at this level.”

Indeed, Bielsa cannot afford to continue risking Alioski in defence – it is no wonder that he’s been dubbed a “liability” by respected former player Noel Whelan in the past too, he told Football Insider:

“His defending at time is very lacking in quality, he can be a liability.  It’s a big worry for Leeds if he doesn’t learn from his mistakes.”

It’s time for the £55k-per-week enigma to sit a few matches out unless there is a place for him further up the field. It’s a ruthless but necessary call to make.

Jamie Shackleton’s emergence could allow Stuart Dallas to return to his left-back position and there can surely be no harm in giving Leif Davis a runout either.

All are more viable defensive options in the role than Alioksi. Only the Baggies have leaked more goals than United this term. That issue has to be fixed.

If you cast your minds all the way back to the extended summer transfer window, you will remember Ross Wilson embarked on a big spending spree in a bid to stop Celtic’s ten in a row.

Rangers recorded a £10.35m net spend in the last window, per Transfermarkt, as Wilson brought in the likes of Cedric Itten and Kemar Roofe on four-year deals.

They also secured the signing of Bafana-Bafana midfielder Bongani Zungu on an initial loan deal with the option to buy. But it hasn’t quite worked out for him at Ibrox, as he has been limited to mostly substitute appearances from the bench.

Just because a player is a fully-fledged international, it doesn’t necessarily mean they will succeed in the Scottish Premiership; a league that has become known for its physicality.

Rangers also stumbled across former Brighton centre-back Leon Balogun, who has turned out to be a rare gem of a find.

Now, however, they have missed out on the chance to sign a player who was once considered to be the ‘New Gazza’ – 34-cap England international Jack Wilshere.

Rangers had a legitimate interest in signing the free agent after his £100,000-per-week contract was terminated by West Ham on transfer deadline day but a move didn’t materialise and he recently re-joined Bournemouth instead.

There’s no two ways of saying this – this has to be one of Wilson’s biggest regrets in recent memory. Steven Gerrard was on the hunt for a new central midfielder in the summer and he ultimately brought in Zungu as backup for Steven Davis.

However, it’s fair to say that they still arguably lack a technical operator in the midfield who can play second fiddle to Davis, as Zungu has failed to register a single goal or assist so far this season.

Able to play at the centre, on the left or on the right, Wilshere could’ve been exactly that. Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola once said: “He’s quality, he’s smart and has the quality on the ball. He has a special quality with the ball, dribbling as a holding-midfielder to attack central defenders — it’s not easy to do that.”

In his last season at Arsenal alone, he took 1.2 shots and made 1.8 key passes per game, via WhoScored, – successfully completing 3.2 dribbles on average.

For context, this would have put him top of the Rangers squad ahead of the likes of Joe Aribo (1.7) and Ryan Kent (1.9). In comparison, Zungu has shockingly only managed 0.1 dribbles per game this season, as per WhoScored.

This sort of attacking threat would’ve been most welcome in the Govan side of Glasgow, as he has shown a willingness to bring the ball out from the back to put his team on the front foot.

Joel Carli, Gervasio Nuñez e Damián Lízio não chegam a Domingos Martins (ES) nesta quarta-feira. Os três estrangeiros do Botafogo ainda estão resolvendo pendências burocráticas, e tem chegada prevista para o China Park, onde a delegação está instalada, na noite desta quinta-feira.

Sem eles, o Glorioso promoveu um treino coletivo na tarde desta quarta-feira. Foram três as alterações em relação à atividade do mesmo tipo feita no último sábado. Jean e Fernandes deram lugar a Diogo Barbosa e Octavio, respectivamente. Gegê ocupou a vaga de Lízio.

Desta forma, o time titular teve Jefferson, Diego, Renan Fonseca, Emerson e Diogo Barbosa; Airton, Rodrigo Lindoso, Octavio e Gegê; Neilton e Luis Henrique. Os reservas foram formados por Helton Leite, Marcinho, Igor Rabello, Emerson Silva e Jean; Bruno Silva, Matheus Fernandes, Dierson, Leandrinho e Fernandes; Ribamar.Na parte final do coletivo, que teve dois intervalos, Bruno Silva foi sacado, Airton e Rodrigo Lindoso foram para o time reserva e Fernandes voltou ao time titular.

O gol único da atividade foi marcado por Luis Henrique, após cruzamento de Neilton. Matheus Fernandes e Ribamar, do time de juniores, chegaram na noite da última terça. Luis Ricardo e Bruno Silva também, mas o primeiro deu apenas voltas ao redor do gramado. O volante Lucas Zen fez um trabalho específico, separadamente.

Liverpool have done a U-turn on their decision to offload Xherdan Shaqiri this transfer window, according to David Lynch.

The report claims that unless a surprise bid is tabled for the Swiss international’s services, he will remain with the club for this season. A very wise decision for Michael Edwards and Jurgen Klopp, given they will likely still be reeling from their 7-2 mauling on Sunday.

A deadline day change of heart

Despite making just 11 appearances across all competitions last season, Shaqiri proved he is capable of delivering the goods when called upon. He got himself on the scoresheet in Liverpool’s thrilling 5-2 win over Everton back in December and popped up with a goal in the Carabao Cup this campaign as though he’d never been away (via Transfermarkt). Pep Lijnders lauded his performance and said he was “superb” during a cup post-match conference.

The Reds have already been ruthless with their outgoings by cashing in on could-have-been heir to Roberto Firmino, Rhian Brewster. Harry Wilson is also linked to a move away from Anfield after failing to break into the senior team full-time.

With Sadio Mane out due to illness, selling Shaqiri would have left Liverpool with a skeleton crew up front. One major injury to either of their star wingers, and the reigning league champions would be in serious trouble. Luckily for the the Swiss man, Klopp realised how much the Reds missed Mane during their Aston Villa defeat and can’t risk shredding his options up front. To be in with a chance of securing back-to-back titles, depth is absolutely key for the current holders.

Em 22 de dezembro, o atacante participará de um clássico amistoso entre Comercial e Botafogo, no Estádio Santa Cruz, em Ribeirão Preto. Mas por que o Eto’o foi escolhido para ser o astro do Come-Fogo?

– Eto’o foi o primeiro nome. Fizemos uma lista com nomes internacionais que nunca tinham vindo ao Brasil, para o clássico realmente ter o tempero especial. Eto’o é uma figura que vai além do futebol. Ele participou de um meme, os cariocas sabem bem da brincadeira com o Obina. Ele passou de ser só um jogador para ser assunto do dia a dia – disse Phillip Klien, diretor de estratégias de expansão do Twitter Brasil.

Na manhã desta quinta-feira, na sede da empresa que criou a rede social dos 140 toques, localizada na zona sul de São Paulo, o Come-Fogo especial foi anunciado com a presença do ex-meia Raí, que atuará pelo Botafogo, de Ari Engracia, vice-presidente de marketing do Botafogo, e de Breno Spinelli, o presidente do Comercial. O ex-jogador do São Paulo fará seu centésimo jogo com a camisa do Pantera.

A gente viu que em Ribeirão Preto o timing é muito legal, muitas conversas dos usuários do Twitter passaram a aparecer em nossos relatórios. Quando falava de Ribeirão, aparecia o Come-Fogo – finalizou Klien.

Os ingressos para a partida começarão a ser vendidos nesta sexta-feira. Os valores variam de 15 a 60 reais. Além de Raí, o ex-atacante Mauricinho é esperado para atuar pelo Comercial.

أكد محمود الخطيب، رئيس النادي الأهلي، إن الإدارة القانونية تعمل بمنتهى القوة بعدما رصد مجلس الإدارة العديد من المشاكل القانونية وقرر مواجهتها للحصول على حقوق ‏الأهلي.

وأضاف الخطيب في  كلمته خلال المؤتمر الذي عقد اليوم الإثنين في مقر النادي بالجزيرة لاستعراض الإنجازات التي تحققت على مدى السنوات الأربع الماضية: “الإدارة القانونية برئاسة المستشار محمود فهمي تعمل بدون مقابل، ويواصلون عملهم في خدمة النادي واسترداد حقوقه”.

قال: “عندما تسلمنا الإدارة كان هناك حكم بـ134 مليونًا و750 ألف جنيه غرامة على النادي في (قضية ‏مسك)، والمستشار محمود فهمي واللجنة القانونية والراحل المستشار حلمي عبد الرازق كان لهم ال‏فضل في إسقاط هذه الغرامة”.

تابع: “ملف الإعلام حظى باهتمام كبير من جانب مجلس الإدارة، في ظل مكانة النادي وحجم شعبيته وجماهيريته، حيث تم تطوير منصات النادي والمركز الإعلامي وقناة النادي ومجلة الأهلي وصفحات التواصل الاجتماعي التي وصلت إلى أرقام كبيرة، وصولًا إلى تواجد الأهلي ضمن قائمة أكثر 20 ناديًا في العالم من حيث المتابعة عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي”.

وواصل: “قطاع الإعلام تطور بشكل كبير ونجح في أن يضع النادي في المكانة المرموقة التي يستحقها تزامنًا مع نجاحات بقية قطاعات الأهلي”.

استكمل: “لدينا منصات إعلامية وشركة الأهلي للإنتاج الإعلامي التي تقوم بدور كبير، وهنا أشكر جمال جبر مدير إدارة الإعلام ومحمد يوسف مدير شركة الأهلي للإنتاج، وإبراهيم المنيسي رئيس تحرير المجلة، على دورهم الكبير في الوصول إلى هذه المكانة على الصعيد الإعلامي”.

أردف: “تطوير لائحة النظام الأساسي للنادي الأهلي كان على رأس أولويات المجلس، وأشكر أعضاء الجمعية العمومية، واللجنة القانونية على الوصول إلى تواجد أكثر من 15 ألف عضو شاركوا في رسم مستقبل النادي”.

أوضح: “كان لدينا مشروع للائحة، وأخذنا العديد من اللوائح السابقة، وتلقينا أفكار الجميع، وعرضنا هذه الأفكار للمناقشة على كل المستويات، وكانت تجربة مميزة للغاية بمشاركة كل الفئات في وضع اللائحة الجديدة”.

أكمل: “كان من الضروري للغاية أن يملك الأهلي دستوره الخاص (لائحته) الذي تمت صياغته عن طريق أبنائه ومحبيه، ليتم صياغته في صورة نهائية قدمها المستشار محمود فهمي”.

وأضاف أن دستور الأهلي يضم العديد من المواد، ومنها مادة لها مكانة خاصة لديه وهي 112، المتعلقة بإنشاء شركات مساهمة يخصص الأغلبية من أسهمها للأهلي، بحيث لا تخرج ملكية القرار عن النادي.

ووجه رئيس الأهلي الشكر للدكتور فاروق العقدة على دوره في صياغة اللائحة من الناحية المالية، لتكون جديرة بالعمل بها داخل النادي.
