Demonstrando bons números no início da temporada, a Chapecoense forma estratégia para poder surpreender novamente no Campeonato Brasileiro 2018. Ano passado, o clube passou por reformulação após tragédia de avião em 2016, o que ocasionou na morte de parte da comissão técnica e de alguns jogadores. No entanto, mesmo assim, o clube segue forte e, até o momento, a equipe catarinense teve apenas quatro derrotas em 2018. Deste modo, o time montado pelo técnico Gilson Kleina pode ter chances no Brasileirão.

Nos últimos quatro anos, em que a Chapecoense disputou a competição nacional, o clube não teve um aproveitamento de se fazer inveja, mas atuações em campo para deixar os torcedores orgulhosos. Calculado as estatísticas, o time catarinense teve 42,75% de aproveitamento nas últimas temporadas – de 2014 a 2017 – ano em que garantiu uma vaga na Copa Libertadores.

A Chapecoense fez boa campanha no Catarinense 2018, mas acabou perdendo o título na final. Em toda competição, a equipe comandada por Gilson Kleina teve apenas duas derrotas. O primeiro revés aconteceu na fase de classificação e o segundo foi na própria decisão do Estadual, ao perder por 2 a 0 para o Figueirense, que consagrou-se campeão.

No início do ano, o Verdão do Oeste participou da Libertadores, porém, não teve êxito após perder os dois jogos em que disputou contra o Nacional-URU, ainda na segunda fase. Deste modo, foi eliminado da competição, sem entrar na fase de grupos do torneio continental.

O LANCE! entrou em contato com um dos setoristas do clube para analisar a situação do clube no atual momento, e o que esperar da equipe para o início do Campeonato Brasileiro. O jornalista Mateus Montemezzo, da Rádio Oeste Capital, comentou da situação momentânea da Chapecoense.

– A Chapecoense chega com moral para a disputa do Brasileirão. Mesmo perdendo o título do Catarinense para o Figueirense, mostrou na fase de pontos corridos que evoluiu consideravelmente em relação ao time do ano passado. A diretoria decidiu manter a base do grupo que conquistou a 8ª colocação em 2017 e incrementou peças importantes, como Guilherme (ex-Botafogo), Rafael Thyere (ex-Grêmio) e Bruno Pacheco (ex-Atlético-GO) – disse o jornalista.

Além disso, o setorista do clube destacou posições em que a equipe de Chapecó precisa melhorar e os jogadores que se diferenciaram até o momento nas partidas disputadas.

– O ponto mais forte é a zaga. São cinco peças do mesmo nível: Thyere, Bareiro, Fabrício Bruno, Douglas e Luiz Otávio. Todos, quando chamados, deram conta do recado. Por conta dessa estabilidade defensiva, Jandrei chegou a 13 jogos sem tomar gols no Estadual. Ao longo das 21 partidas disputadas na temporada, foram apenas 12 gols sofridos. Já o setor que preocupa é o meio-campo de criação. Luiz Antônio e Canteros, volantes de origem, são os principais responsáveis pela armação das jogadas. Falta repertório. Consequentemente, as chances claras de gol diminuem. Mesmo assim, a diretoria da Chape aposta na permanência do argentino. Com toque refinado, já mostrou que pode desempenhar essa função. Woakes finished unbeaten on 19 from 15 balls as he struck the final ball over midwicket having lost Graeme Swann at the start of the last over with four needed.Ajmal Shahzad faced two dot balls before scrambling to the non-striker’s end then Woakes scythed Shane Watson, who produced an outstanding all-round display with 59 and four wickets, through backward point to level the scores and ensure, at worst, England couldn’t lose. They really shouldn’t have pushed it so close having always been in control of the asking rate, but it’s a credit to their belief that they could still pull through for victory despite a late clatter of wickets.Watson will feel the defeat particularly acutely having almost pulled the match back for Australia. Snijman announced his retirement, even though he is only 25 years old, in order to further his business interests. Snijman made his debut for Gauteng in the 2003-04 season, where he become an accomplished opening batsman. He leaves the game with a first-class batting average of 31.36 and a List A average of 32.75.He moved to the Titans during the 2006-07 season and was part of the squad that won the SuperSport Series in 2008-09, the MTN limited-overs competition twice and the Standard Bank Pro20 in 2007-08. “I have been giving my career much thought over recent months and have decided that I will be retiring from cricket at the end of the current 2010/2011 season. I would especially like to thank the players. I have loved spending time with them and building friendships,” Snijman said.
