أفاد لوك دي يونج، أنه كان واضحًا دائمًا أنه سيستمر في برشلونة على الرغم من حقيقة أنه في سوق الشتاء أراد النادي إعارته إلى قادش.

وتحدث الهولندي عن انضمامه للفريق الكتالوني حيث وصل إلى برشلونة على سبيل الإعارة من إشبيلية في أغسطس، لمدة موسم دون خيار شراء إلزامي.

منذ ذلك الحين مع برشلونة، سجل دي يونج خمسة أهداف في الليجا، وهدف واحد في كأس السوبر الإسباني.

وقال دي يونج في تصريحاته لـ “NOS” الهولندية: “شخصيًا، كنت أعلم دائمًا أنني أريد إنهاء الموسم الأول في برشلونة، انتقلت إلى البارسا، لذلك لم أرغب في الذهاب إلى مكان آخر إلا بعد بضعة أشهر”.

وتحدث المهاجم عن تطوره في برشلونة مضيفًا: “مع رونالد كومان، كان علي إثبات نفسي كل يوم في التدريبات، في رأيي، عندما لا تقوم بعمل جيد في التدريب، فأنت لا تستحق أن تلعب المباريات”.

واصل: “تغير الأمر بالنسبة لي بعد رحيل كومان، يجب أن أفعل الشيء نفسه، كان يعرف من أنا وكيف ألعب، أما بالنسبة لتشافي، فقد كان علي أن أظهر له أنني أستطيع مساعدة هذا النادي الرائع”.

وأوضح: “كان علي أن أظهر له جودتي منذ اللحظة الأولى ولدي ما أقدمه للفريق، ما يمكنني القيام به في هذا النادي الرائع، يمكن أن يساعد الفريق في النهاية”.

يتذكر لوك دي يونج بداية انضمامه للبلوجرانا: “عندما جئت إلى هنا، علمت أنني قادم إلى أحد أكبر الأندية في العالم، وعلى الرغم من ذلك، فوجئت بجودة اللاعبين ومدى سهولة بعض الأشياء”.

وأكمل: “عندما تنظر إلى برشلونة من بعيد، تقول (يا له من فريق رائع يفوز بكل مباراة)، الأمر ليس كذلك حقًا، فأنت بحاجة إلى العمل كفريق واحد لتكون فريقًا متماسكًا، بهذه الجودة والعمل الجاد، يمكننا تشكيل مجموعة قوية”.

وهو يعتبر أن زملائه استقبلوه جيدًا لأنهم عرفوه بالفعل، واستطرد: “أعتقد ذلك، لعبت ضدهم خلال العامين اللذين كنت فيهما في إشبيلية وسجلت الأهداف، أعتقد أنهم يعرفون جودتي وكيفية الاستفادة من خدماتي”.

وأشاد بشكل خاص بأحد زملائه في الفريق، سيرجيو بوسكيتس: “على الرغم من عمري (31 عامًا)، ما زلت أتعلم أشياء جديدة، أيضًا من اللاعبين الحاليين”.

وأتم: “على سبيل المثال، في لعبة تحديد المستوى، يتعين علينا اتخاذ القرارات بسرعة للوصول إلى أعلى مستوى ممكن، عندما لعبت ضد بوسكيتس، قلت كم هو مزعج، عندما أصبحت زميلًا في الفريق، قلت إنه شخص رائع، وقائد جيد”.

What’s the story?

Reports in recent weeks had suggested that Marcelo Bielsa is eyeing up a summer move for the 25-year-old, with Italian publication La Nuova Sardegna even claiming that the Whites were ready to pay the €36m (£31m) release clause in order to bring him to Elland Road.

Then, Corriere dello Sport (via Sport Witness), even revealed that the Yorkshire club were very close to completing a deal for Nandez, with the Whites having only a few details to sort out.

Now however, Calciomercato claim that Leeds are actually “finding it impossible to invest such an important fee (€36m) on the transfer market for a single player”.

It’s added that if Cagliari were willing to negotiate then things could change, but as of right now, that has not been the case.

Bielsa will be fuming

Make no mistake about it, if after all of this time, the Whites ended up missing out on Nandez, Bielsa would surely be fuming.

Reports first emerged last year that Leeds were keen on signing the Uruguay international, and it’s clear that the midfielder is a long-term target of Bielsa’s and would also offer a lot at Elland Road were he to join.

Connor Clancy, editor-in-chief at Forza Italian Football, has talked about what Nandez could bring to the table at Leeds, telling This Is Futbol: “Anywhere Bielsa wants to play him, he’d do a job. I like him a lot. I think he’s only about five foot seven, but you wouldn’t know it if you just watched clips of him, he is a little bit of a machine. He’s so powerful but at the same time, has really, really good ball control.”

It’s exactly why Bielsa must be livid that one of his main targets – who he had reportedly insisted on signing this summer – could fall through the club’s grasp.

This fresh twist is bad news for Leeds and their chase for Nandez.

Rogério Ceni nunca escondeu sua admiração por Juan Carlos Osorio, técnico que comandou o São Paulo em 2015 e hoje dirige a seleção do México. E neste sábado, diante do Novorizontino, o técnico do Tricolor deu uma mostra da influência que o colombiano tem em sua empreitada fora das quatro linhas.

No segundo tempo da partida em Novo Horizonte, quando o São Paulo vencia por 2 a 0, Ceni lançou o atacante Luiz Araújo e com ele ressuscitou um gesto que é marca registrada de Osorio. O técnico entregou um bilhete ao garoto, com instruções para outro atleta. Essa forma de comunicação era defendida pelo técnico colombiano, que escrevia com canetas azuis e vermelhas: azul para algo bom que estava sendo feito, vermelha para uma espécie de alerta.

Ceni já disse que conviver com Osorio, mesmo que por apenas cinco meses no São Paulo, mudou sua forma de pensar futebol. Ele se sentia pronto para ser treinador, mas depois que acompanhou os métodos do treinador, se deu conta de que precisava estudar mais, conhecer mais. Não à toa, trouxe da Inglaterra, onde Osorio teve sua formação no esporte, seu assistente técnico: Michael Beale, com passagens pelas categorias de base do Chelsea e do Liverpool.

A admiração de Ceni o levou a ter um período de estágio com Osorio no ano passado, quando ainda se preparava para ser técnico. Ele acompanhou treinos do México durante uma semana, a convite do treinador colombiano. As aulas se refletem no futebol aplicado pelo técnico do São Paulo.

Assim como o Profe, apelido de Osorio, Ceni prima por um jogo ofensivo, com velocidade na recuperação da bola, linhas altas e forte jogo pelas pontas. O esquema de preferência de ambos é o 3-4-3, muito usado por Jorge Sampaoli. No Tricolor, no entanto, o ex-goleiro ainda não consolidou o sistema. Porém, pela inspiração que tem no colombiano, não será surpresa se isso acontecer ao longo do ano.

Tottenham’s Director of Football Fabio Paratici has jetted into England to hold talks with former Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo about becoming the club’s new manager, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Spurs have already been turned down by nine managers already this summer, with Ryan Mason remaining in temporary charge of the club at this moment in time.

The Telegraph have reported that Spurs are closing in on appointing Nuno Espirito Santo as their new manager, with the 47-year-old leaving Wolves at the end of the 2020/21 season.

Spurs finished seventh in the Premier League last term, and will be eager to push for a top-four finish next term, regardless of who they’re managed by moving forwards.

THE LATEST: KEY FIGURE JETS IN FOR FURTHER TALKS….

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Tottenham’s Director of Football Paratici has flown into England to hold further talks with Nuno and his representatives over a move to the club.

It seems as though the former Wolves boss is Spurs’ main target heading into the new league campaign now, as they look to find Jose Mourinho’s permanent successor.

“Tottenham director of football Fabio Paratici arrived in London in the last hours. Talks on with Nuno Espirito Santo and his representatives,” Romano tweeted.

With The Telegraph reporting that an agreement is close as well, it seems as though Spurs might have got their main in Espirito Santo.

THE VERDICT: HE COULD BE A SHREWD APPOINTMENT BY SPURS….

This could turn out to be a smart appointment by Spurs, but you can’t help but feel that he wasn’t their first-choice target this summer.

The approaches to other manages like Antonio Conte and Mauricio Pochettino will have been hugely frustrating for both Daniel Levy and the club’s supporters.

Spurs need stability moving forwards though, and Espirito Santo could be the manager that can do just that, having impressed with Wolves over the years, finishing 7th in consecutive seasons before injuries took their toll this term.

If the club can give him time to build a long-term project at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, then it wouldn’t come as a surprise to see Spurs challenging higher up the Premier League table in the future.
