Um dia após ter sido apresentado de forma oficial, o técnico Toninho Andrade comandou na manhã desta segunda-feira, no Moacyrzão, o seu primeiro treino no Macaé. Ele assume o time na reta final da Série B do Brasileiro e tem a missão de evitar a queda do clube. O treinador ressaltou a importância de mexer pouco na equipe.

– Não dá para chegar aqui e mudar tudo, não é hora para isso. Mas o trabalho foi bom, testei outras situações de jogo. Tenho duas na cabeça que vou levar até o momento da partida. De certo mesmo é que não jogarei com três zagueiros – afirmou o comandante, em entrevista coletiva após o treino.

According to 90min, the Toffees are one of several Premier League teams chasing Schalke 04 midfielder Weston McKennie, who longs for a move to the English top-flight.

They are battling the likes of Southampton, who need a replacement for Pierre Emile-Hojbjerg as well as West Ham, Aston Villa and Newcastle United.

It’s claimed that a fee of around £22.5m has been mooted but the Bundesliga outfit could try to ramp up their finances with a bidding war.

Shades of Gueye

Given Everton’s interest in Napoli lynchpin Allan, it is perhaps a surprise to see them linked with another similar player but there would be no harm in securing him ahead of their rivals.

The 21-year-old has been described as a “true midfield warrior” who’s playing style is like Arturo Vidal, whom Ancelotti had at Bayern Munich.

“McKennie breaks down opposition attacks and wins back possession in his sleep, unafraid of the physical battle. He’s also heavily involved going forward, his high-energy style allowing him to pose a threat in the opposition penalty area, and can deliver the goods as a No. 6, 8, or 10” (Bundesliga.com).

Whilst his head coach, former Huddersfield boss David Wagner has lauded the USA international as an “outstanding talent” who is also “brave on the ball.”

These are backed up by his numbers as per WhoScored, McKennie averaged 1.6 interceptions, 1.4 tackles, 1.1 shots, 1 dribble and 0.6 key passes per game, which evidently sh0w his impact at either end of the pitch.

This sort of industrious box-to-box powerhouse is exactly what’s needed at Goodison Park as the club have failed to replace Gueye, who swapped Merseyside for the Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.

Whilst the Senegalese brute was much more tough-tackling, averaging 4.3 per appearance in his final season, McKennie can step up to fill that gap if he’s given the role rather than a vast majority he can play in.

You’d imagine him and Allan would improve the midfielder tenfold, which is why Marcel Brands should absolutely push ahead at all costs.

Eberechi Eze 4/5

Eberechi Eze was one of the standout players in the Championship last season, making the PFA’s Team of the Year for that division.

At just 22 years old he has a lot of room to improve, and he will compliment Palace’s attack nicely, due to the similarities in his playstyle to Wilfried Zaha.

Both men absolutely love to dribble the ball, and they’re incredibly effective when doing so, and if Eze can carry his Championship form over to the top-flight, he will undoubtedly be one of the Eagles’ star players.

Nathan Ferguson 4/5

The former West Brom man should have been a Palace player in January, but that move fell through at the last minute.

Palace have actually benefitted from the collapse of that deal though as they’ve managed to get their man on a free, and what a player he is.

Ferguson was being chased by the likes of Atletico Madrid and Juventus not long ago, but somehow, he’s ended up at the London club, and the best part is that they’ve not had to pay a penny for his services.

This is a genius move from the people in charge at Palace, and there can be no complaints about this signing.

Michy Batshuayi 4/5

One thing Palace have needed is a reliable goalscorer, and in Michy Batshuayi, they’ve got just that.

Christian Benteke’s goals have dried up in the past two seasons, while Wilfried Zaha hasn’t been finding the net all that regularly lately, but the pressure put on the Ivorian will now be alleviated with Batshuayi back in the picture.

The Belgian has of course been at Palace before, spending six months there on loan in 2018/19, netting five goals in 11 league games, and if he can replicate that form he will once again help Palace comfortably steer clear of the threat of relegation.

A derrota no Beira-Rio ainda adiou por mais uma rodada a classificação do Grêmio para a Libertadores do ano que vem. Roger admitiu que existe tal ansiedade.

– Gostaria que já estivesse definido. A gente tem uma condição especial para classificar, mas sabemos que ainda tem a matemática. Vamos ver se no jogo contra o Atlético a gente consegue o segundo lugar – completou o técnico.

Como o Galo ficou no 2 a 2 com o Goiás, o Grêmio segue com a possibilidade de alcançar a vice-liderança do Brasileirão ao término da competição. No momento, o Atlético soma 66 pontos, contra 62 do Grêmio com duas rodadas a serem disputadas.

أكد محمود الخطيب، رئيس النادي الأهلي، إن الإدارة القانونية تعمل بمنتهى القوة بعدما رصد مجلس الإدارة العديد من المشاكل القانونية وقرر مواجهتها للحصول على حقوق ‏الأهلي.

وأضاف الخطيب في  كلمته خلال المؤتمر الذي عقد اليوم الإثنين في مقر النادي بالجزيرة لاستعراض الإنجازات التي تحققت على مدى السنوات الأربع الماضية: “الإدارة القانونية برئاسة المستشار محمود فهمي تعمل بدون مقابل، ويواصلون عملهم في خدمة النادي واسترداد حقوقه”.

قال: “عندما تسلمنا الإدارة كان هناك حكم بـ134 مليونًا و750 ألف جنيه غرامة على النادي في (قضية ‏مسك)، والمستشار محمود فهمي واللجنة القانونية والراحل المستشار حلمي عبد الرازق كان لهم ال‏فضل في إسقاط هذه الغرامة”.

تابع: “ملف الإعلام حظى باهتمام كبير من جانب مجلس الإدارة، في ظل مكانة النادي وحجم شعبيته وجماهيريته، حيث تم تطوير منصات النادي والمركز الإعلامي وقناة النادي ومجلة الأهلي وصفحات التواصل الاجتماعي التي وصلت إلى أرقام كبيرة، وصولًا إلى تواجد الأهلي ضمن قائمة أكثر 20 ناديًا في العالم من حيث المتابعة عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي”.

وواصل: “قطاع الإعلام تطور بشكل كبير ونجح في أن يضع النادي في المكانة المرموقة التي يستحقها تزامنًا مع نجاحات بقية قطاعات الأهلي”.

استكمل: “لدينا منصات إعلامية وشركة الأهلي للإنتاج الإعلامي التي تقوم بدور كبير، وهنا أشكر جمال جبر مدير إدارة الإعلام ومحمد يوسف مدير شركة الأهلي للإنتاج، وإبراهيم المنيسي رئيس تحرير المجلة، على دورهم الكبير في الوصول إلى هذه المكانة على الصعيد الإعلامي”.

أردف: “تطوير لائحة النظام الأساسي للنادي الأهلي كان على رأس أولويات المجلس، وأشكر أعضاء الجمعية العمومية، واللجنة القانونية على الوصول إلى تواجد أكثر من 15 ألف عضو شاركوا في رسم مستقبل النادي”.

أوضح: “كان لدينا مشروع للائحة، وأخذنا العديد من اللوائح السابقة، وتلقينا أفكار الجميع، وعرضنا هذه الأفكار للمناقشة على كل المستويات، وكانت تجربة مميزة للغاية بمشاركة كل الفئات في وضع اللائحة الجديدة”.

أكمل: “كان من الضروري للغاية أن يملك الأهلي دستوره الخاص (لائحته) الذي تمت صياغته عن طريق أبنائه ومحبيه، ليتم صياغته في صورة نهائية قدمها المستشار محمود فهمي”.

وأضاف أن دستور الأهلي يضم العديد من المواد، ومنها مادة لها مكانة خاصة لديه وهي 112، المتعلقة بإنشاء شركات مساهمة يخصص الأغلبية من أسهمها للأهلي، بحيث لا تخرج ملكية القرار عن النادي.

ووجه رئيس الأهلي الشكر للدكتور فاروق العقدة على دوره في صياغة اللائحة من الناحية المالية، لتكون جديرة بالعمل بها داخل النادي.

Many Aston Villa fans have reacted to a further transfer report linking Brentford’s Said Benrahma with a move to Villa Park.

Claret and Blue manager Dean Smith has made some improvements to his squad this summer which include the signing of Ollie Watkins from the Bees.

Raiding his former club with the view to improve his attacking setup, Smith is also said to be interested in sealing a deal to sign Benrahma, who largely impressed last term.

The 24-year-old Algerian was one of the most prolific attackers in English football in the 2019/20 season, contributing with 17 goals and nine assists in his 43 appearances.

Villa’s interest was recently discussed by a report which also claimed that Brentford were due to make a decision on the winger’s future, and that has now been followed up by a similar report which calls on Smith to make a move.
