So Leeds have really picked up the pace in the fight for promotion this season. After a commanding 4-0 victory over Middlesbrough on Saturday afternoon, Marcelo Bielsa’s side went top of the Championship, a point above second-placed West Brom.The Whites were in complete control from the very first whistle in their contest against Jonathan Woodgate’s side, with Patrick Bamford netting after just three minutes of the game. أكد أسامة نبيه المدرب العام للفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي الزمالك، أن مباراة طلائع الجيش كانت صعبة للغاية، والفوز بها كان ضروريًا.

الزمالك فاز على طلائع الجيش بهدفين دون رد، في المباراة التي جمعت الفريقين في الجولة الثالثة والعشرون، من الدوري المصري الممتاز.

وقال نبيه، في تصريحات عقب المباراة، أن فوز فريقه أمام طلائع الجيش كان ضروريًا ومهمًا، في ظل الظروف الصعبة التي يمر بها في الفترة الحالية، وفي وجود الغيابات العديدة.

وأشار نبيه إلى أن الزمالك لديه ضغط مباريات في الفترة المقبلة، وشدد على ضرورة تجنب خسارة الفريق في أي مواجهة قادمة، من أجل المنافسة بقوة على لقب الدوري.

وأوضح المدرب العام أنه في الفترة المقبلة سيجري الجهاز الفني عملية تدوير بين اللاعبين بسبب ضغط المباريات، وسيخضعون لتدريبات استشفائية.

أكد ياسر إبراهيم، لاعب الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بالنادي الأهلي، أنه يتطلع إلى التتويج بكأس السوبر الإفريقي يوم الجمعة المقبل، على حساب نهضة بركان المغربي، مشيرًا أن هذه البطولة هي الأولى له مع المارد الأهلي.

الأهلي يستعد لمواجهة نظيره نهضة بركان في المباراة التي ستقام يوم الجمعة المقبل، على استاد جاسم بن حمد “ملعب نادي السد” في كأس السوبر الإفريقي.

وقال ياسر إبراهيم في تصريحات للموقع الرسمي إنه يتمني أن تكون النسخة الحالية، هي السوبر القاري السابع للأهلي، والأول له منذ انضمامه إلى الفريق.

وقال: “جميع لاعبي الأهلي يركزون في مباراة نهضة بركان، وهناك إصرار كبير على التتويج بلقب السوبر الإفريقي ليكون أفضل ختام لهذه المرحلة التي شهدت حالة من الضغط الشديد في المباريات ما بين مواجهات محلية وقارية”.

وأردف: “حضور جماهير الأهلي كان سببا في نجاح بطولة كأس العالم للأندية التي أقيمت خلال شهر فبراير الماضي، وساهم وجودهم في تتويج الفريق بالميدالية البرونزية في البطولة، وتواجدهم في المدرجات خلال مباراة نهضة بركان، سيكون بلا شك دفعة معنوية قوية لجميع اللاعبين؛ من أجل التتويج باللقب والاحتفال معهم”.

وأضاف: “لقب السوبر الإفريقي غائب عن النادي منذ سبع سنوات بعد غياب النادي عن منصات التتويج في دوري أبطال إفريقيا، قبل أن يستعيد الأهلي مكانته ويتوج بالبطولة في العام الماضي، والجيل الحالي قادر على التتويج باللقب، وإضافته من جديد إلى قائمة بطولات الأهلي”.

وأشار إلى أن الأهلي يعيش حالة من التركيز الشديد قبل مواجهة نهضة بركان، والجهاز الفني أكد ضرورة إغلاق ملف دوري إفريقيا بمجرد الانتهاء من مباراة صن داونز، والتأهل إلى الدور النصف النهائي في البطولة، وذلك للتركيز في مواجهة الفريق المغربي على كأس السوبر الإفريقي، خاصة أن البطولة من مباراة واحدة، والفائز فيها يعود إلى بلاده بلقب إفريقي يضاف إلى سجلاته، لذلك يأمل أن يكون الأهلي هو المتوج باللقب.

وتطرق للحديث عن مواجهة صن داونز الأخيرة قائلا: “الأهلي حقق هدفه من المباراة، وحسم تأهله إلى دور نصف النهائي في دوري أبطال إفريقيا، مباراة الذهاب بكل تأكيد كان لها دور كبير لمساعدة الأهلي في تخطي فريق قوي وعنيد، استطاع أن يثبت أقدامه في البطولة الإفريقية في السنوات الماضية، ولكن لاعبو الأهلي كانوا على قدر المسئولة، وحسموا التأهل، وقطعوا خطوة مهمة في طريق الحفاظ علي لقب دوري أبطال إفريقيا والتتويج بالبطولة العاشرة”.

وواصل: “بيتسو موسيماني، المدير الفني للفريق، ركز على الكرات العرضية خلال التدريبات التي سبقت مباراة صن داونز للمهاجمين والمدافعين، وجاءت تعليماته واضحة للدفاع أن الكرات العرضية أحد أخطر الأسلحة لفريق صن داونز”.

واختتم ياسر إبراهيم تصريحاته مؤكدًا أن مصلحة الأهلي تأتي في المقام الأول، والهدف الذي سجله في مباراة صن داونز كان تتويجا لجهود جميع زملائه في الفريق، وهناك رغبة قوية من اللاعبين في الفوز بلقب السوبر الإفريقي.

Not only that, the Anfield outfit now top the Premier League by eight points, having won 14 of their first 15 matches, and are on the march to their first league title in 30 years.

By beating Everton, he made history, becoming the quickest manager in history to win 100 league games. Liverpool journalist David Maddock has suggested that he should now be ranked along the likes of Bill Shankly, Bob Paisley and Kenny Dalglish, especially considering he inherited a poor squad.

Whilst he has done a fantastic job to date, he still has just one trophy to his name, whilst those others picked up several. As such, many supporters feel that he needs to win silverware to have his name mentioned alongside that pantheon of greats.

Other fans have taken issue with Maddock’s statement in regards to Klopp inheriting a bad team. They actually believe it wasn’t that bad at all.

The team he had was nowhere near the level of the one he has now. The likes of Christian Benteke and Joe Allen, for example, would not get near this current side, yet they made 79 appearances between them in that first campaign.

Some fans just hope he stays at the club for as long as possible after seeing this stat.

If he remains at the club for that long, there is no limit to what he could achieve.

Ashley Young has had a long career in the Premier League.

He is now in his 13th year in the top tier of English football, having made 368 appearances along the way. During that time, he has scored 47 goals and also provided 86 assists, and those displays have also earned him 39 England caps.

Now 34, Young joined his current club Manchester United from Aston Villa back in 2011, but according to the man himself, he could have moved to Liverpool or Manchester City before he completed that switch. However, he has said that his mind was always on signing for the Old Trafford club rather than those other two sides.

Considering he has received abuse in the past from the Reds’ supporters, it is hard to imagine him wearing the liver bird. However, it was clearly on the cards, and his arrival would have maybe seen the Reds avoid signing James Milner, who has gone on to play a big role at Anfield.

The similarities between the two players are plentiful – they actually played together at Villa Park, don’t forget. We have already mentioned Young’s long career in the Premier League, and Milner has spent even longer in the top flight. He has 564 appearances in the competition, and he also has a comparable record in terms of goals and assists, with the 33-year-old having scored 54 times and also created 83 strikes.

They both started out as wingers, but have since transitioned to other roles. Young has become a full-back, whilst Milner is now a central midfielder, and they have both been used in a number of different areas by their managers, making them utility men. Young and Milner have both received considerable stick from portions of their own fanbase as well down the years, and they both captained their respective sides.

If Liverpool had already brought in Young, would they have taken Milner a few years later? It seems unlikely considering they are so similar in terms of what they bring. Klopp may have been pushed to bring in another, perhaps more exciting midfielder if he already had an experienced utility man at his disposal.

Considering all that the 61-time England international has achieved with the six-time European champions, though, as well as the praise he has received for his attitude from those in the know, the Merseyside club can be thankful that Young was so desperate to move to their rivals instead.

أعلن مرتضى منصور رئيس نادي الزمالك السابق، عن قرار محكمة القضاء الإداري بمجلس الدولة بإلغاء القرار الصادر من اللجنة الأولمبية بإيقافه 4 سنوات.

اللجنة الأولمبية أعلنت في 4 أكتوبر الماضي منع مرتضى منصور من مزاولة أي نشاط رياضي لمدة 4 سنوات.

ونشر مرتضى منصور عبر صفحته الرسمية بموقع التواصل الاجتماعي “فيس بوك”: “مرتضى منصور رئيس نادي الزمالك الشرعي المنتخب يسجد شاكرا الله سبحانه وتعالى ويشكر جماهير الزمالك الوفية وأعضاء الجمعية العمومية المحترمين وقضاء مصر العظيم على الحكم الصادر اليوم بإلغاء قرار اللجنة الأولمبية بعزله أربعة سنوات” .

وتابع: “والمحكمة أكدت أن قرار هشام حطب غير مشروع ويعتبر اعتداء علي إرادة الجمعية العمومية التي انتخبته رئيسا للنادي، وأنه ليس من حق اللجنة الأولمبية إصدار هذا القرار المخالف للقانون والمواثيق الدولية”.

واختتم: “وغدا سيقيم المستشار مرتضي منصور دعوى قضائية ضد هشام حطب ولجنتة مطالبا منهم بتعويض 20 مليون جنيه عن الأضرار التي أصابتة من قرارهم الانتقامي بعزله والذي ألغته محكمة القضاء الإداري اليوم”.

أوضح لاعب وسط منتخب مصر سام مرسي، السبب وراء انتقاله من الدرجة الثانية إلى الدرجة الثالثة في إنجلترا، بعد انضمامه إلى إيبسويتش تاون قادمًا من صفوف ميدلسبره، في آخر أيام الميركاتو الصيفي.

واندهش الكثيرون من خطوة انتقال سام مرسي إلى إيبسويتش، رغم أنه كان يشارك بصفة مستمرة مع ميدلسبره منذ بداية الموسم الحالي.

وتحدث مرسي عن الأمر في تصريحات نقلتها صحيفة “East Anglian” البريطانية، وقال: “لقد أحببت الوقت الذي أمضيته في ميدلسبره، علاقتي مع المدرب وزملائي والجماهير”.

وتابع: “عندما حان وقت الرحيل، لم أفكر في مكان أفضل لانتقل إليه من إيبسويتش”.

وأضاف: “ما جعلني أفضل الانتقال إلى إيبسويتش تاون رغم وجود عرض آخر هو وجود المدرب بول كوك، الذي أعرفه جيدًا وأعلم أسلوبه من قبل عندما كنا معًا في ويجان، ولم أكن لأفعلها من أجل أي مدرب آخر”.

وتابع: “لا اعتبر تلك الخطوة تراجعًا في مسيرتي، ولكن آمل أن تكون لمدة موسم واحد فقط، من أجل عودة إيبسويتش تاون إلى سابق عهده ومكانته الطبيعية”.

وأتم تصريحاته: “الانتقال إلى إيبسويتش تاون مثير للغاية، هناك فريق رائع قد كونه كوك هناك، وبالتالي أشعر بالسعادة الكبيرة لأكون جزءً منه بالفعل”.

Arsenal should take the gamble of signing Philippe Coutinho for the asking price of €80m (roughly £71.5m) as Spanish publication ABC reported that Mikel Arteta is targeting a transfer move for him in the upcoming summer window.

As per the report, the Spanish coach has already confirmed that he would like to have Coutinho at Arsenal for next season and that the Barcelona ace would be a key pillar in his project.

Arteta is apparently convinced that the player can regain his best level and help the north London club to compete with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City. Coutinho has also apparently confirmed that his priority is to return to the Premier League, the competition in which he arguably lived his best moments. Indeed, the attacking midfield player made 152 appearances in the English top flight for Liverpool, scoring 41 goals and making 37 assists, according to Transfermarkt.

His pedigree in England’s highest division not just as a creator but also as a goalscorer could prove to be the difference between Arsenal regaining Champions League football or continuing to miss out and, with a couple more additions, maybe even competing for the league title once again.

Take Mesut Ozil, who plays in the same kind of role but has only netted once and provided two assists in 18 matches in the Premier League so far this campaign (via Transfermarkt). At 27 years of age, Coutinho is four years younger than the German and so is arguably reaching the peak of his career whereas Ozil’s best years may be drifting away.

Even though the asking price is relatively expensive, Arsenal should take the gamble on Coutinho.

فينجر المدير الفني التاريخي لـ آرسنال، ورئيس تطوير كرة القدم العالمية في الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم، هو القوة الدافعة وراء خطط إقامة كأس العالم كل عامين بدلًا من أربع.

ويلتقي بعض أشهر اللاعبين والمدربين السابقين في كرة القدم بـ آرسين فينجر في قطر خلال اليومين المقبلين، للاستماع إلى خططه المستقبلية لكرة القدم، في ظل رغبته بإقامة كأس العالم كل عامين، بدلًا من خوض مباريات ودية وتأهيليه كل عام، حسب ما أكدت شبكة “سكاي” البريطانية.

الاتحاد الأوروبي أكد عبر رئيسه ألكسندر تشيفرين، أنه يعارض إقامة بطولة كأس العالم كل عامين، إلا أن الاتحاد الدولي حتى الآن متمسك بذلك.

وأشارت التقارير إلى أنه صوت 166 اتحادًا من أصل 2011 في الفيفا على إجراء دراسة جدوى للمقترحات التي طرحها الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم في مارس الماضي بإقامة كأس العالم كل عامين. ومن المرجح أن يصوت جميع أعضاء الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم على المقترحان قبل نهاية العام.

وفي حالة الموافقة على هذا المقترح، سيتم عمل دراسة جدوى، ومن الممكن أن تقام نهائيات كأس العالم كل عامين اعتبارًا من صيف 2028.

وفي حديثه الأسبوع الماضي لصحيفة ليكيب الفرنسية، أكد فينجر إنه لن يكون هناك مزيد من المباريات الودية، وسيضمن اللاعبين 25 راحة على الأقل كل صيف، وسيقضي اللاعب المزيد من الوقت في ناديه.
