Tottenham Hotspur are weighing up a move for Napoli right-back Elseid Hysaj, per the Daily Express.

What’s the word?

Spurs have been left with something of an injury crisis at right-back, with Juan Foyth currently sidelined and Serge Aurier only just returning to training, having missed the entirety of pre-season with a wrist injury.

Following the sale of Kieran Trippier to Atletico Madrid, the club have been left with Kyle Walker-Peters as their only fit right-sided defender.

And the Daily Express now reports that the club could enter the race to sign Hysaj from the Serie A club.

He is reported to be valued at £20m, and both Roma and Juventus have been credited with an interest too.

A valuable addition

A transfer fee of £20m is a snip in today’s market.

Hysaj, of course, does not have Premier League experience but he has captained Albania, winning 47 caps, and has also made 170 appearances in Serie A.

Still only 25, Hysaj would represent a low-cost and low-risk acquisition for Spurs, who are desperately short in defence.

A deal would have to be rushed through, with the transfer deadline coming on Thursday, but this is one that chairman Daniel Levy should be looking to get over the line as soon as possible.

It would plug a remarkably leaky hole in defence and also ensure that manager Mauricio Pochettino has all the resources he needs at full-back.

وأضاف: “سيكون لدينا قائد لديه عقلية الفوز والجينات الوراثية لساو باولو”.

كريسبو فاز بكأس كوبا سود أمريكانا في عام 2020 مع نادى ديفينسا جوستيسيا الأرجنتيني، وحقق خلال المسابقة ستة انتصارات وثلاثة تعادلات ولم يتعرض للهزيمة.

بدأت مسيرة كريسبو كمدرب في إيطاليا حيث عمل في فرق الشباب في بارما في موسم 2014/15 وقاد فريق مودينا في عام 2015.

ثم عاد إلى كرة القدم الأرجنتينية لتولي تدريب نادي بانفيلد في موسم 2018/19، ثم غادر إلى ديفينسا جوستيسيا في موسم 2020/21.

كان هيرنان كريسبو أحد المهاجمين الأرجنتينيين العظماء وبنى مسيرته المهنية بالعديد من الأهداف والإنجازات المهمة، مثل كأس ليبرتادوريس (1996) وكأس الاتحاد الأوروبي (1998/99)، بالإضافة إلى المنافسات في الأرجنتين وإيطاليا وفي إنجلترا.

وطوال مسيرته كلاعب، لعب كريسبو للأندية الكبرى في كرة القدم العالمية، مثل ريفر بليت، وبارما، ولاتسيو، وإنتر ميلان، وتشيلسي وميلان.

علق مهاجم الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي بوروسيا دورتموند، إيرلينج هالاند، على التقارير التي تؤكد اهتمام ريال مدريد بضمه في الميركاتو الصيفي المقبل.

ويعد هالاند أحد أبرز اللاعبين بجانب، كيليان مبابي، وبعض الأسماء الأخرى الذين يرغب ريال مدريد في الحصول على خدماته لتدعيم الصفوف تحت قيادة المدير الفني، زين الدين زيدان.

وبعد نهاية المباراة وبسؤال هالاند عن اهتمام ريال مدريد، رد المهاجم الشاب في تصريحات نقلتها صحيفة “موندو ديبورتيفو” الكتالونية: “من الجيد دائمًا أن يحبك أحدًا”.

الجدير بالذكر أن هالاند يتألق في الموسم الحالي مع بوروسيا دورتموند ووصل عدد أهدافه في جميع البطولات مع الفريق الألماني إلى 24 هدف في 23 مباراة فقط.

Ryan Sessegnon has completed a move from Fulham to Tottenham Hotspur in a deal that has delighted Spurs fans.

The club have been chasing an agreement for the 19-year-old throughout the summer transfer window, sources have confirmed to Football FanCast.

The left-back, who can also play as a left winger, has signed a contract until 2025, bringing to an end a transfer saga that has spanned the entire window.

Indeed, reports at the beginning of the summer claimed that Sessegnon had told Fulham he wanted to move to Spurs and would not be signing a new contract at Craven Cottage.

Other reports have claimed that the England Under-21 international did not even consider alternative options, such was his desire to move to Spurs.

And fans are delighted with the deal, with many believing that the versatile youngster has completed his dream move.

Leeds United are planning to build a new “world-class” training facility on the site of a former inner-city school, as reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post.

The Whites currently train at Thorp Arch, which was opened in 1994.

However, the Championship outfit are keen to put together a new facility on the grounds of Matthew Murray High School in Holbeck, which closed in 2006.

The Yorkshire Evening Post has reported that a decision on the land will be made on September 18.

As expected, the news has been greeted well by the Leeds fans on social media, with a number pleased to learn of their club’s plans.

It remains to be seen whether the Whites can launch another challenge for promotion this season, and ultimately secure a return to the top flight.

However, building a new training facility would be a huge step in the right direction for the club’s future.

وعن مشاركة لينجليه أمام إشبيلية: “هذه قراراتي، أنا المدرب، على أي لاعب أن يكون واثقًا من نفسه، الجميع لابد وأن يظهر ذلك لي، المشاركة تعتمد على العديد من الأشياء، الجاهزية البدنية ونفسية اللاعب، وكذلك كيفية استعداده ذهنيًا”.

وشدد: “أنا المسؤول عن التعادل أمام قادش، لا نمتلك الفاعلية أمام المرمى، مشكلتنا ليست في خلق الفرص، نخلق الفرص ولا نسجل كثيرًا”.

وعن التفكير في مباراة باريس سان جيرمان: “أعتقد أنه على اللاعبين الكبار وأصحاب الخبرة، أن يخلقوا أجواء جيدة لزملائهم، أريد رؤية أجواء ريمونتادا”.

وواصل: “في كرة القدم كل شيء يتغيّر كل يوم، نحن سنواجه إلتشي، وظروف المباراة مختلفة في كل شيء”.

Nathan Redmond highlighted just what the skilful Boufal needs to do to get into Hasenhuttl’s good books when he told BBC Radio Solent that the former RB Leipzig manager wants ‘people who can run like a horse without the ball’.

Whilst you would typically expect flair players to not be the type to do such a task, one unique, eye-catching stat from the former Lille man’s performance against Fulham suggests that he can do what the manager wants him to do.

The forward – who registered more La Liga take-ons than Lionel Messi last term – completed a whopping 10 tackles against the Cottagers as the Saints progressed to the next round – where arch-rivals Portsmouth await – thanks to a hard-fought 1-0 win.

Boufal’s 10 tackles were by far and away the most out of any player on the pitch at Craven Cottage on Tuesday, with right-back Cedric Soares completing the second most with four.

He seems determined to turn his Southampton career around and make his £16m transfer fee look like a snip, and so far, the African is doing extremely well in changing the preconceived minds of those who have doubted him.

Premier League sides can seldom carry passengers at this level, and whilst Boufal has all the flair, talent and ability in the world, you need the mindset to work for your teammates if you want to get anywhere in England’s top-flight – another talented Moroccan in Adel Taarabt knows that all too well.

واستكمل: “فاتح تريم يحب مصطفى محمد لأنه كان يصر عليه، وقبل عرض سانت إتيان الفرنسي هناك شخص من تركيا تواصل معي وأبلغني أن جالطة سراي يريده”.

واستكمل: “من قاد المفاوضات ووضع مبلغ محدد بقيمة 4 ملايين دولار في بند بيع مصطفى محمد لـ جالطة سراي شخص (ساذج جدًا)، وكان يجب على الزمالك الاستثمار من كل نادٍ ينضم له، مثل ما فعل المقاولون العرب مع محمد صلاح، أندية أوروبا ستتفاوض لضم اللاعب بأرقام مختلفة تمامًا”.

واختتم: “الزمالك يعاني من أزمة في جزئية التفاوض، حتى مع اللاعبين الذين يتعاقد معهم بأسعار عالية جدًا، والذي يجري المفاوضات لا يتمتع بالخبرة”.

It is surprising to see that Shkodran Mustafi is still part of the Arsenal squad following the end of the transfer window.

Unai Emery said earlier in the summer that the centre-back, along with Mohamed Elneny, had no future at the Emirates Stadium and that it would be better for them to leave for pastures new.

Then, in the last few days before the deadline, the Germany international was linked with Serie A champions Juventus, a deal which in the end did not go through.

As such, he remains a Gunners player more than three years after completing his move from Valencia in 2016, although it seems unlikely that he will feature too much this season.
